The Putnam County Film & Video Festival has been a successful multi-cultural event introducing the community to the talent which exists in its own backyard.  It has screened everything from animation and documentaries to full length feature films and has covered all genres from drama to thrillers and horror to romance.  The director's get a chance to discuss their work with the audience.  Many of it's winners have gone on to have their work showcased on such prestigious channels as the Independent Film Channel (IFC).  In 2002 the festival expanded its arena with a live musical performance.  And, in 2004 the festival went international.  2005 marked the final film festival.  We hope to one day bring the festival back to a broader audience.
