VALLEYPALOOZA

Valleypalooza, Putnam Valley’s largest showcase of high school student bands, was a combination of rock, metal, alternative and acoustic musical acts make up this 5-6 hour musical extravaganza.

Unlike a battle of the bands, this was not a competitive event.  All musicians received gifts and t-shirts for performing. Everyone is a winner.

Each year students were asked to submit a CD sample of their music, along with a form of information for consideration for performing.  Bands were then selected by the event co-ordinators.

Valleypalooza was run with many local volunteers. Security and safety are paramount.  It was a great environment for people of all ages who love music.

iGuitar.com was a major supporter of this event. Other sponsors in the past were Seymour Duncan, Elixir Strings, Vic Firth, Zildjian and D’Addario.
